ABSTRACT
Objetivo: Determinar el tratamiento quirúrgico de los pacientes con Hidatidosis Pulmonar en el Hospital Regional de Ica, Material y Métodos: Se realizó un estudio observacional, descriptivo y retrospectivo, para lo cual se revisaron las historias clínicas de enero de 1996 a diciembre del 2010; los datos obtenidos se analizaron en conjunto y por grupos. Resultados: Se evaluaron 62 casos con edad media de 26,2+7 años, siendo en su mayoría de sexo femenino (54%). La presentación clínica mas frecuente fue dolor torácico (69%) y tos seca (56%). En el73% el quiste fue único; el pulmón derecho y los lóbulos inferiores fueron los más afectados. El tamaño del quiste fue de 13,08+6 cm. El 81% de los quistes se presentaron complicados. El tratamiento quirúrgico fue con técnica preservadora (93%), todos recibieron tres ciclos de albendazol postquirúrgico. El 53% presentaron complicaciones intraoperatoria y el 22% postoperatoria; la estancia hospitalaria postquirúrgico fue de 14+6 días. Conclusiones: La hidatidosis pulmonar es una enfermedad parasitaria endémica en nuestra región, a nivel pulmonar es más frecuente en el derecho, la mayoría son hialinos y usualmente se presentan como quistes únicos. El tratamiento es médico quirúrgico y existen complicaciones propias del quiste así como complicaciones intra y postoperatorias. (AU)
Objective.: To determine the surgical treatment of patients with pulmonary hydatidosis disease in the Regional Hospital of, Material and Methods: It was realized an observational, descriptive, retrospective, and cross to which the medical histories of January 1996 to December 2010; the data obtained were analyzed as a whole and for groups. Results: We evaluated 62cases with a median age of 26.2 + 7 years, still mostly female (54 % ). The most common clinical presentation was chest pain(69 %) and dry cough (56 % ). In 73% the cyst was unique; the right lung and the lower lobes were the most affected. The size of the cyst was 13.08 + 6 cm. The 81% of the cysts were complicated. Surgical treatment was with sparing technique (93% ), all received three cycles of albendazole postsurgical. The 53% showed intraoperative complications and the 22%postoperative; hospital stay after surgery was 14 + 6 days .Conclusions: The pulmonary hydatid disease is a parasitic disease endemic in our region, to pulmonary level is more frequent in the right , the majority are hyaline and usually appear ascysts only. The treatment is surgical medical and there are own complications of the cyst as well as intra and postoperative complications. (AU)
